Whether you’re wondering what cruising is all about, are thinking about cruising the Maine coast, or have 100,000 miles under the keel, you need to attend the 29th annual Penobscot Bay Gam in Rockland, Maine! Plan now to join us at the Maine Sail, Power & Steam Museum, located at 75 Mechanic Street in Rockland.
The gam will kick off with a Friday afternoon dinghy raft-up and will continue with a shoreside gathering beginning at 11:00 am on Saturday morning, followed by the potluck at 11:30 am. At 2:00 pm, Brian Perkins from the Marine Stewardship Council will be the featured speaker. At around 3:00 pm, attendees can take a tour of the Maine, Sail, Power & Steam Museum. And, for the first time, the Penobscot Bay Gam will host a VE exam session for those who wish to sit for an Amateur Radio (Ham) License. This session will be held on Saturday morning.
