The series includes various timezone CSHs from around the world, in the Atlantic Islands, Pacific/Asia Eastern/Western Caribbean, Africa and South America all stored on SSCA Seven Seas University YouTube area. Please join us!

Panelists:  Addison and Pat Chan
Previously, Ed Tillett of Waterway Guide was scheduled as a panelist but is unable to participate so Addison and Pat have been added as panelists.
Addison, supported by wife Pat, is a very well known author and cruiser in the Bahamas and Florida. As Seven Seas Cruising Association members and Boatwatch.org members, they are part of a very valuable resource for us all. Follow Addison and his wife Pat on their vessel, ThreePennyOpera, to various ports and anchorages in the  Bahamas, Florida and Cuba. Find and join their Facebook groups to stay current on situations and events in these areas we love, Bahamas Land and Sea, and Cuba Land and Sea. The Bahamas FB group has many daily posts on the rapidly changing situations in those islands.  Read the Waterway Guild to Cuba  2019 by Addison Chan and Nigel Calder; he is also the Waterway Guide Bahamas Cruising Editor, and knows the topics well. From cruising during the 2020 season in Bahamas, and now in Vero Beach, Addison and Pat share their expertise freely with cruisers! https://www.facebook.com/groups/bahamlandsea

Panelists:  Rudy and Jill Sechez
Rudy and Jill Sechez, also SSCA members, are frequent travelers south down the ICW.  Known for their excellent anchoring videos, they will provide a fresh look at the routes south to Florida, as they are currently transiting.  Print authors in many publications and Waterway Guide authors,  Rudy and Jill are excellent resources for cruisers as part of their training sessions (see  Anchoring: A Ground Tackler’s Apprentice at both Waterway Guide and in nautical bookstores).  Find them on their sailing trawler, Briney Bug (the name says it all), transiting up and down the USA. https://www.anchoringconsultants.com

Panelists:  Shirley Cool and Patrick Maslen
We are Shirley Cool and Patrick Maslen and have been the Seven Seas Cruising Station Hosts in Daytona Beach, FL for the last 5 years. We have been SSCA members since 1991 and active sailors for over 40 years. We became liveaboard cruisers in 2001 when we sold our house in Harvard, MA. We live aboard our cutter-rigged 1984 Tayana 37, Intrepid. We have spent the last 19 years sailing the tropical waters of the Caribbean including the South America, Central America and the Windward and Leeward Islands.  During the summer hurricane season, we have made airplane trips to Peru, French Polynesia, Marquesas’, and New Zealand. Shirley is a Certified Public Accountant and a skilled navigator and helmsperson. We are both General Class licensed ham radio operators. Patrick is a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain with a 100 Ton Master Credential with a commercial towing endorsement.  We have been assisted by various SSCA Cruising Stations while cruising and now reciprocate by helping other cruisers.
